Have your own work space

Determine where you work best and dedicate that area or room as your work space. As you spend many hours each day working, this work space needs to be a space you want to be in. Make it a creative space free of distractions, but also a place where you enjoy being.

Set boundaries when working

Just like if you were going into the office to work, you can’t have your kids coming into your workplace every few minutes to ask you questions. Set work hours and boundaries with your family and friends when you are working. Differentiate your work hours from your personal hours.

Stay organized
