13 Oct Fall Bucket List Ideas
With the days becoming shorter, and the temperature dropping, you may or may not be excited about the arrival of Fall. Take a minute to think of the changing of leaves, cooler weather, Halloween, and pumpkin spice flavored everything. There are many unique fall attributes that everyone should take the time to enjoy. Here are 5 ideas to add to your bucket list on how to make the most out of this fall season:
Grab some comfort food
The cold Autumn air can be alleviated by some seasonal comfort food. Warm up with some apple cider, butternut squash soup or a nice slice of pumpkin pie. Enjoy the seasonal food while it lasts!
See the changing leaves
Visit a park or go on a drive through the mountains to see the beautiful leaves changing color. Go on a walk or go hiking, take family pictures or simply sit and enjoy nature at it’s finest. Be sure to layer and bundle up in warm clothes to combat the chilly air.
Enjoy the harvest
Look around your local area for a farmers market, pumpkin patch, or corn maze. These can be fun activities for the whole family.
Visit a Haunted House
Fall is the best season for a good scare! The cold air and dark nights, with Halloween around the corner, creates the best environment and time to visit a haunted house.
Read a book
With more time spent inside, curl up in some blankets next to a roaring fire with a cup of hot chocolate and a new novel. This is a great, productive way to spend those cold evenings.
